210 lbs. Or in units more familiar to these isles, 15st and 95kg respectively.
That's what I weighed in at on my first visit to the gym last Saturday. I feel moderately disgusted by this figure.
I only have myself to blame. My love of beer, pizza, beer, kebabs, whisky, bread and beer have done this, and I have gladly let them.
No more.
It'll be a long journey. A hard one, filled with toil, tears and sweat - if I work out right, hopefully there won't be the blood that Churchill mentioned.
But it's time that the awesome human being in the photos below gets the body to go with the personality.
Lao Tzu said the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. That one has been taken, but I'd better get stepping on that treadmill to reach my far-off goal.
