That was an enjoyable evening. Good food (including grilled turkey which was fucking amazing), laughter, hugs and lots of love. We are a fairly large family (I have four sisters and a brother, though one of our sisters passed away thirteen years ago and another is out of town so wasn't able to make it). It was great to see everyone who was there and catch up. The rest of the evening will consist of video games, beer and SG.
A side note: I did, surprisingly enough, get a reply to the text I sent last night. That's something, at least.
