Good evening, everyone. I hope you're all well and enjoying your day. Mine has been very pleasant so far and I expect it will continue that way.
I'm so glad I got to see Micaylah today. It's been difficult coordinating our schedules lately to spend more than an hour or so together. I get up for work at 5 in the morning and don't get home until 5 or 6, by which time she's already started her shift. I'm not getting any younger, so staying up late and operating on 4 hours of sleep every night isn't a viable option anymore. I was able to do that in my 20's but I'm old and grumpy enough as it is. So, anyway, I don't mean to complain, it's part of being grown up. I accept it. I just miss her sometimes. It's early in the relationship though, we'll make it work. It was great to be able to see her today and hug her and hear her intoxicating laugh. So yeah, that's been my day so far and I'm happy. She's working tonight so my plans for the evening involve a possible nap, some food and then beer and football. Can't fucking complain about that. :D
