This isn't a particularly easy question for someone with such low self esteem to answer. I've given it a lot of thought and I believe my best quality is my taste in music. I know most people probably answered with something along the lines of "my sense of humor", "my compassion", "my cooking skills". You know, real qualities lol. But for me, odd as it may sound, that's the best thing about me. I have a sense of humor and I have compassion and I happen to be a great cook... but man, music is my passion. I don't play it anymore (I used to be the vocalist of a local grindcore band years ago) but I still write lyrics (or attempt to, at any rate) regularly and it's very rare that I'm not listening to music. I have a very broad taste in genres; I like everything from death metal to shoegaze to industrial. Lately I've been listening mostly to sludge and post-metal (bands like Baroness, Mastodon, Crowbar, Rosetta, The Ocean, Kylesa) but there are moments when nothing but, for example, Yeah Yeah Yeahs or Chelsea Wolfe will do. I like that I'm so open minded with music. It's an important part of my life and enjoying so many artists and bands opens the door to meeting people I'd otherwise never have had the opportunity to meet. I'm grateful to music and the bands that I love and I'm grateful that it's brought so many incredible people into my life over the years.
