Spent a long weekend on a canal boat with some friends, where I drank lots, lost a chunk of my scalp, had a BBQ in the rain and chilled out a whole lot.
Went to FrightFest to see a premiere of the new Rob Zombie movie which was a little bit of a let-down really.
Went to Download festival which was pretty cool, Dresden Dolls, Send More Paramedics and Sabbath all rocked. A little bit cold at night, even the absinthe didn't warm me up enough
Oooh and I went to see Hedwig and the Angry Inch on the opening and final nights in London. That was cool, the guy playing Hedwig did a good job. On the opening night we were sat near the front, and at the end Hedwig got Ellen Greene up on stage and they did a duet of Suddenly Semour from Little Shop of Horrors. The last night wasn't quite as good as the performance wasnt so intense from the back. Really cool though
Saw NIN last night in London and they were awesome. They started with Wish and went straight into Sin.
Really good set which included Dead Souls from The Crow soundtrack.
And.... NIN again tonight
