btw to answer your last blog (and i only know this because I've had to go through the nonsense) you will probably need a departmental or professor override into the course. The pre-req resides with the course itself not with your major anymore if you're at ASU. Mainly because they went to this slow buggy new scheduling system that sucks, and doesn't determine which classes you can sign up for based off of your major and the relative pre-req. I'm not sure the adviser can override it, but they will probably put you in touch with whoever can.

Right now it won't let me sign up for summer or fall classes because it doesn't have a final grade for my current courses that are pre-reqs to other stuff. I hate the new system.
