Friday I finished my shooting, though I didn't get all the shots I wanted (My friend, who helped encouraged me to go film the scenes, then backed out and was only able to make one shot
).
Saturday I woke up early to give a friend a ride to work then I was off to the Pacific Media Expo to meet someone I had been talking to for a while. But when I got there I was blown away... It was so much bigger of an expo than I imagined. By the end of the day I spent way more money than I thought and knew I had to show up on Sunday too, so I called a friend to tell him to dye my costume that night so I could swing by, pick it up, and pay him.
Sunday I went to PMX again, this time dressed as Dan Hibiki from Street Fighter Alpha 3. My costume was a surprising hit and I had my picture taken about a dozen times... it was cool (I'm kind of a geek, ya know).
Then I went to my grandma's for a dinner for my Dad's birthday. I then got a call to go to my friend's where he was having a BBQ.
I didn't eat anything (I was too full) but I got to hang out for a bit before heading back home.
Monday I went to the Renaissance Fairewith my friends. I was able to shit-rig a costume for that too, put on some slacks, boots, tattered shirt, and my kick ass swords to look like a poor-man's fighter. It was cool (I'm kind of a geek, ya know).
Now I'm trying to download last weeks shoot to edit it together.
I'll be working on that all week, so wish me luck!
