Ok, cue in Incubus song "...and in this moment I am happy..happy!"
For over a year now, maybe even two years, I've wanted to give my shot at doing some art. Maybe all of it but at least some of this was inspired by the people on this website. Although only one of you remain on my list from over six months ago, I just want to say I love you all and thank you!!!!!!!! Speaking of which, this is a bit weird, but it feels like I'm only taking to you the freak lol...so here goes (hopefully) a new addition to me.
Keep in mind I have no idea of what the fuck I'm doing, but that's exactly why I'm so happy right now! The colors I'm experimenting with, the brushstrokes I"m experimenting with, but I have a few set in stone ideas of what it is I would like to paint. This is going to require a LOT of practice, a lot of canvases, and a lot of learning by trial. I have never been good at drawing people. Faces, arms, noses, beaks, they're all disfigured and inaccurate. But practice...this is so awesome!! wooohooo!!! I feel so rejuvinated!
Speaking of which, I've missed some pretty awesome SG's...especially this one:
Well, its my last day of a five day vacay...I slept most of the time, but I did manage to clean up a bit. I hope I get to make some additional friends. At least this time we know I'll be here for at least a year..lol
