It's a one party state but I dunno if that kind of thing would get me anywhere in the long run career-wise nor even in the short term in securing the deal we deserve, unfortunately. It's a funny position to be in to be trying to win a company's business and then having something like this come up. It's just not as clear cut or even protected like an employer/employee scenario. Hopefully, I can just be strong and steer things back to purely business and shut down the idea that I am included as part of any deal.

Thanks, grayness. You never know...I will give your idea some thought but really I don't see myself doing much with a tape even if I got it. I think I'd rather just face it head on and let the chips fall where they do even if it means I unfairly lose out. Fingers crossed it won't turn out that way. But like I said, I will think about it. Your ideas are much appreciated.
