• One of the younglings at work said I reminded her of a bulldog. I think it fits pretty well, actually.


• About a week ago now, Fang had his first check since the final chemotherapy. Everything looks good for the time being, and we've started on the new drug, Palladia. He's pretty much his usual self, which is all to the good. From the new blood tests, Claw has slipped only a little bit further since his last check 8 months ago, so that's good as well. The doc and I are having a talk about putting him on EPO- the same drug used to dope cyclists so that they make more red blood cells. No decision yet, I'm just considering.


• I take Tweedledee and Tweedledum in for a check and shots tomorrow, and that's the last vet trip for a whole two weeks.


• Work is crazy mad busy, but so far the monster project and I are going toe-to-toe, and I'm holding my own. The consultants need to pick up the pace on their part or I'll start to fall behind on mine. I like them, and I understand their situation... but I can't move as quickly as I need to until their part is complete. Anyway, meanwhile I helped the younglings out a bit today. I may work Sunday, if I can think of a way to be getting things more organized so that I can move more quickly once all is in readiness.


• When I have time for it, I am really enjoying Fallout: New Vegas- I hope to get to play a few hours tomorrow.


• This lady seems like she was pretty awesome, and would have fit right in around here. She died 217 years ago this week. I wonder what she would have thought of today in general, and of this place, specifically.
