At my first really serious programming job, I knew someone who introduced me to a saying- "Inside every small problem, there are two large problems wanting to get out. Inside of every large problem, there are two small problems wanting to get out."
It's not really true, but sometimes it feels like it.
Yesterday, it was something that didn't work that should have (well, yeah, it shouldn't have, but it looked like it should have. All human developed languages can leave some room for imprecision that seems precise...). So, today, my problem is something that shouldn't work that does, and a file that's a rabbit when it should be an empty hat.
And so, off to work we go.
