I'm tired a good deal. recently. I find myself falling asleep very early, and getting up equally early... 3 AM or so.

On the days when I can afford to not be alert every moment, like today, I'll find myself drifting off for a few seconds here and there as I sit at the computer. It feels longer. but I have happened to notice the time on the computer clock before and after... it all happens within a minute.

I hear things.

Well, kind of. Have you ever had a radio down so low that the sound almost wasn't there, but was almost just barely inside your head? Yeah. Like that. Now imagine it *is* inside your head.

I catch bits of stories, a sentence or two, pieces and parts... and for a moment, I *know* the context, but it fades so quickly that by the time I come back, all I'm left with are the fragments, which usually don't make that much sense. It's like radio theatre, like I'm hearing stories from the worlds that are edge-on to ours.

I hear things like that when I'm almost falling asleep on the train, not sure if its the same thing?
Auditory hallucinations are extremely common though, especially when you're on the edge of sleep.
