So, I've been running a slight fever today. I hadn't really noticed until it was past time to go home, and I realized both that the light had gone dim as I puzzled through a new set of tricks to try in my code, and also that I was rather light-headed.

Of course, you might well say that there could be other inspirations for that, as well. I wouldn't argue.

But tonight I am just taking it easy, resting, and enjoying some very good cider. What does tomorrow hold? Shall I finally grasp the secrets of aspect-oriented programming? Shall I look to my woods for a secret to share? Maybe both, and other things as well. But not tonight.

This wasn't a bad week at all. I dodged death, secondhand. I got one corker of a puzzle to figure out, and the hope that if I do, I might just impress some of the people that impress me. And last, I was reminded what the song of a siren might be- and that the song is all the sweeter when the siren has a heart to match her song.
