I'm going to do more on the story this weekend, but I've decided it's going to be fiction, although this story will be inspired by the last year and a half or so of my life.
Nonfiction would just be a bad idea in many, many ways. And also, this way I've got a character that doesn't have to be me- after all you, my dear readers, get enough of me when I spend a week or so deconstructing a single figure of speech- I figure you're all due a break once in a while.
This was a good day. I'm going to enjoy my cider, wait until the attic cools down, and go rescue a monster size snake I hear thrashing about up there who probably needs help getting out. I wonder if it's the same one I saw five or six years back. I do think this place has a resident king snake, and that's a good thing.

The people, for the most part, are really good where I work. The bad thing is that our industry tends to be fairly conservative.
Would that be hard cider or the regular stuff?
