One thing that bothers me is that the further you cast your net in search of knowledge, the fewer the definite answers become. Seems like the least life could hold out is some knowledge, at some point, of whether you were looking at things in the right way.

Or if there was even a right way, at all.

Or how many right ways there might...

My aim sucks. I'll just jab em in your eyes wink

With regards to your blog, I think that's the beauty of knowledge. Even living forever, were it possible, may not hold all the answers. (Well, forever after you were born... I suppose if you were present at the beginning of time you might know a bit more)

The more you know, the less you understand.

And, thank you!

Awake too late
And up too soon
Makes this grayness
One tired moon.

...

The task at hand is incomplete
As I sit at two oh three
The minutes go on burning by-
There's not a lot to see.
I sit and think
and think some more
I write
and stop
And you'd soon snore
To watch verse written is such a bore
As I...

I saw your post of Rocket Ride on her blog. You have good taste in music
lusyd:
I hear you on that. I get stuck with a repeating DVD full of horrible top 10 music all day long at work ><

I'm crazy enough that I tasted Fang's medicine tonight to see if it was as bad as he made it out to be. (Just the least, tiniest taste).

Yeah, it is that bad, actually.
...

Funny, I've been here over four years now. Longer than college. Many of you do actually seem like classmates to me, in an odd way. Or maybe a not so...

Poor Fang.

grayness, will you sign my yearbook?

Thank you. I hope you rest well too.

This place is just this site. I miss my old friends I made on here at least I miss talking to them on a regular basis, but we all have lives outside the internet.

It's always great to hear from you. smile

One evening on the shores of time,
I sat and watched the tide come in
And far out from this world of men
A storm gave splendor to the night.

The wind was like a whisp'ring cloak
That drew its folds around my frame
Not bound to just one life or name
Not owned but shared across an age.

One evening on the shores of...

I'm mostly just watching them to see how the new voting systerm works. My uncle was supposed to be going tonight so maybe I'll see him too.

I loved the reimagined Alice. Out of everyone I've talked to, I'm the only one who wasn't a little disappointed by it. But maybe that's because I'd already seen/heard/read the iffy reviews and was primed for it. And I was gladly surprised. smile

Well, my mornings are now officially shot to hell.
I am so not a morning person... but it's when I write.
[Heh... it's funny, because evenings are when I think. ]
We'll just have to see how I adjust.

Two Minute Warning

This my attempt to write a rhyme
While running short on morning time
The lines are few, it doesn't scan
The critics will most surely pan
But this, just this I have to say
Before I hurry on my way-
You, my friends, I wish good day.

At my first really serious programming job, I knew someone who introduced me to a saying- "Inside every small problem, there are two large problems wanting to get out. Inside of every large problem, there are two small problems wanting to get out."

It's not really true, but sometimes it feels like it.

Yesterday, it was something that didn't work that should have (well, yeah,...

I'm not sure I can get any fonder of her. But if she gets fonder of me that could never be a bad thing.

I hope it goes quickly too but I have a feeling it won't.

Glad you got your program to work.

So, this day I was up an hour before my alarm?

Long blog time? No. Afraid not.

I've got an annoying little problem at work, so I'm playing around with Java applets, trying to get a test program to do what it should.. and
it.
just.
won't.

ARrrr!

Back to it.
And then back to work.

When I have a technical problem I can't figure out it usually helps to step away from it for a while. The answer usually comes once I'm occupied with something else.

I love the challenge of things like that, but hate when I can't get them to work.

The road I hit is the one to work. Every (work) day it's two hours of my life, one there, one back. A little less if I'm lucky, a little more if I'm not. More often than not, I'm lucky. Fortunately, I have my inner monologue and the radio.

I have a perfectly good alarm, but it doesn't get used much lately. But I only...
