Yes. Working nights CAN be fun. *grinning* The night Security Guard for the hospital has NEW fancy schmancy walkie- talkies. The past few nights we have been trying them out/ breaking them in. Eveyone now has code names. Mine is "Sandpiper"

Over the past few days I have developed cellulitis (red, hot and painful with pitting edema) in my Lt leg (post tattoo). It has happened to me before ( on my Rt) and will clear up in a few days after a course of antibiotics. However, I haven't been able to walk very well let alone run on a treadmill... I'm very cranky that I haven't been to the gym. Grrr! But since today is simply gorgeous, I think I am going to drag out the kayak for a paddle around the lake.

Wearing: gray tank top, blue bra and undies ( I match!), embroidered jeans, bare feet and a smile.
I_Smell_Like: peaches and chocolate cake. don't ask!
Drinking: my breakfast...a fruit (raspberry) & yogurt smoothie.
Feeling: happy. it's a rollover from yesterday. *huge grin*
Planning: on attending a surprise party for my 17yo step-son and his friend on Sun. they have enlisted in the Army and are leaving for bootcamp in the next couple of weeks.
Reading: trying to finish "The Fiery Cross." I'm on page 569 out of 979. I don't like having 2 books going at once BUT I just started reading "Dreaming in Fields of Killer Sheep" by David DiSalvo. Why? Because I'm so very very curious... *bites bottom lip* Damn!
