last summer i had a very amusing tanning incident. i'm half japanese so i have a bit of pigment and don't easily burn so i don't wear suntan lotion very often. i was at Stinson beach with a "friend." naturally i take the opportunity to rub suntan lotion pretty much all over her body then i proceed to take a little snooze. it seems i touched my stomach with suntan lotion covered hand before my nap. an hour later i awake to probably the worst sunburn of my life covering nearly my entire front side with the exception of a perfect hand print on my belly. you can still barely see it nearly a year later. i think i'll do it again this year only with a better print than my hand.

my cat could always tell when i was depressed and would spend extra time with me. it's funny how something as simple as an animal, such as a cat, can be so much more civilized and decent than people sometimes. i miss my cat too. i never got another one.

oh my gosh... i am so sorry!!! i can't even imagine how you are feeling. but i do know how it is to lose a pet. when i was a lil kid, we had a dog. we had our dog for years & years... but he ended up getting arthritis. well, one day my brother & i went on a weekend trip with a friend... and upon us getting back we found out that my parents had went & had our dog put to sleep. so we didnt even get to say goodbye... and that really sucked!!!
