sooo friday night.
i started drinking at 8:00.
went till 3:00.
four kinds of beer... gin... beam.
we'll say i was hurtin' on saturday for my 8-hour shift at hell.
the event was the latest benefit for the free paper i occasionally write for http://www.thepin-up.com
Dada themed (as the last was a warhol theme). and it was outstanding... and i managed, while drunk, to (surprise surprise) make an ass out of myself with members of the opposite sex.
but all in all, i had a wonderful time.
and i got the name of a girl i've been wanting to meet... it's odd, but i'm pretty sure she bumped into me on purpose... i love that shit i mean, why do i have to be the agressor? i hate being the agressor! i much prefer it when a girl seeks me out, y'know?
so yeah.. we're getting hammered by snow. the city's blanketed in white. got my taxes done. gonna write my treatment here in a bit for 16mm class (it was due on tuesday, it's a little late)
oh! and i talked to my FAVORITE prof of all time at the thing on friday, and she's willing to do an independent study with me over the summer!!! sweet!
joan's a badass. if it's got anything to do with experimental, indie, or art film in the past 100 years, she knows about it. and she's just super fucking cool. and she's funny when she's drunk.
soooo yeah.
