okay... soooooo... an interesting night
i went to the bar last night to have a couple drinks and ran into a friend of mine from class last semester. i was happy to see her, as i had thought that she had moved away at the end of the semester. lo and behold, she's moving at the end of the summer with her boyfriend. now i've known her boyfriend for about four years now, and have always considered him a friend, as well as her. anyway, she seemed kinda down last night, so i did my best to be a good friend and cheer her up a bit. but when she left, she still seemed down, so i gave her my number in case she needed to talk. i'm like that. people find me to be a good listener, and i don't like to see my friends sad.
so anyway, i leave a little later, come home, go to bed.
at 4:30 in the morning i get a phonecall from her boyfriend, threatening to kick my ass, etc. if i ever talk to her again.
*ahem* what did i do wrong here?

woah, its the number thing. and some girls like to tell their boyfriends about guys hitting on them to see their boys reaction. sometimes they overexaggerate it because they are feeling unloved and want to show the boy that she is wanted.
who knows?

Ugh. You did nothing wrong. Sometimes just being a good listener can get you into trouble! Eeek.
