okay, the paper on Eyes Wide Shut is done, and iv'e resigned myself to giving up on japanese, and goign the slacker route with spanish for my foreign language. i love japanese, i know the shit well, i just can't bring myself to do the work, and show up five days a week.
but anyway, the paper. it's done! thank the fucking lord! but, i have no idea what i wrote. literally. i think i have some idea, but i really don't. so i had matt read it. he said it worked, was fairly coherent, and that i did my typical incredibly-long rambling-sentence thing. so yeah.
oh yeah, the title of the paper? "mind/fucking"

did you ever read the article in the Onion about how the last twenty minutes of kubrick's life made no sense whatsoever? "the smoke, the swirling lights, what did it all mean??"
