Other than that, life has been quite good. I spent Monday morning hiking at Bulls Bridge in Kent Ct.





Tuesday I did eight miles on the northern terminus of the Harlem Valley Rail Trail up in Columbia County.




I arrived dressed and ready for rain



It was a warm, sunny and glorious day.

The late afternoon and early evening was spent on Candlewood Lake over in Connecticut. My friends and I took their boat to Down the Hatch - you can get to it by either road or water! You can probably guess which mode of transportation is our favorite. Great food & beer, fine company and a beautiful sunset brought the day to a perfect end.



I mentioned the raccoon problem to ferkixllL. He suggested some things I could try to keep the beastie away. One of them is used cat litter. I wonder where I could find some of that
