I need to get a new camera. I just came inside from watching the birds. There was quite an assemblage - Rose Breasted Grosbeaks, a Flicker and four other woodpeckers, Goldfinches, Red-Winged Blackbirds and Wild Turkeys across the river. I couldn't get a good picture of any of them. Maybe tomorrow.

You may have noticed that I haven't been around for the past few days. I've had way too much drama in my life. I've been keeping to myself.

I dropped something very heavy on my foot on Sunday and have been barely able to walk for a couple of days - that's getting better now. I'll spare you the photo I took of my three purple toes.

I got some bad financial news last week. It'll all work out, but it's going to be somewhat interesting for a while.

It looks like I may have to move. My landlord is having some serious problems and it will probably affect me.

The weather has been awful. Cold, dark and either raining or very damp - this is not the Spring I waited all winter for! It hasn't been a total loss... My allergies are better - all the pollen seems to have been washed out of the atmosphere.

I've spent the last few days healing and gathering my strength. I've been doing a lot of reading, and watched several DVDs. Waiting for things to settle down a bit. I guess I'd better start taking some action.

*edit - 15 minutes later* I just got a phonecall. Places to go and people to see. I'll be back later to get back up to speed with everyone. I hope you've all been well.

*edit number 2* Okay, I have a plan. I'm going to get a tattoo - from Boomie! Not right away, 'cause I have to get my life back on track a bit first. But soon...
