So this is vacation.....

We went to Six Flags on sunday and had a hella good time. Rode every single roller coaster they had, and it was a joy for me, because last year, CJ was still at the "I'm too frightened" age, and this year, he was gung-ho about riding every coaster he saw, except "Kingda Ka", which he took one look at and refused to ride. But thats cool, because after I rode it, I realized he wasnt quite ready for THAT thrill. We had a great great time, my boy and I.

However, it seems his constant swimming and beach combing with his mother last week left him with a case of swimmers ear....which grew into a full blown infection. He's writhing in pain and not sleeping well....actually, as I type this, he is passed out on the couch, because we found a painkiller (thank God for Motrin) that actually works.

So, for now, I houseclean and surf the interwebs. We'll have to get all the other stuff we wanted to do done when my bouncing baby boy is feeling better.

Then again....I get a sense of satisfaction from cleaning the house anyway, so all is not lost.
