I'm on vacation next week....its an annual tradition, my son has two weeks off between the end of camp and the start of school. And my ex takes a week to spend with him and I take a week. We each do those things we enjoy doing with him, she take shim to the beach and the pool, and I take him to places like amusement parks and museums.

But we do this every year.

I told the folks at work two months ago. And I've reminded them every week since, "Hey...you know...I'm out the last week of August....if you have any special projects or deadlines, get them in now instead of trying to crowd them in to one week...."

Do they listen?

Nope.
