People have been asking me all week, "What are you doing for your holiday weekend?"

Well, although it is my friday with CJ, I'm letting his mom take my day to take him with her to her sisters house for their big BBQ. He doesnt get to go to his Aunt Gia's house enough, and I know it will be special to him.

So my answer has been, "Nothing." or "Not a whole helluva lot."

Being presently car-less I cant go anywhere. I wont train it in to Philly for the festivities, because frankly I dont care to see John Legend live, and although I love Philly, I dont love Philly full of tourists.

But thanks to NeoPop I now have a plan.

I'm drawing bitches. Drawing. I have a couple of nightmare images that have been plaguing me that need to get out of my head and onto paper via charcoal / graphite / sweat / piss. It would be nice to be free of them as well. But, in my search for balance, I've remembered that my zazen is drawing. Therein lies my path to enlightenment.

Time to get off the shoulder and back on the path.

The flight to tourist traps on holidays is something I never understood. Especially, after working for many years in a couple of fields in Atlantic City. Service, and everything else is in short supply--and you wait... a lot. I appreciate the props, but I don't give advice unless; it is needed, and it's going to be of some genuine good. Thanks.
