I'm trying so very hard to get over her.

A co-worker told me to focus on the things I didnt like about her, but the fact is, there were very few things not to like...and those few things were part of why I loved her so much. The imperfections in the diamond that made it unique.

I'm trying so very hard to get over her. I'm just not succeeding.

There's no "getting over" anything. We're the amalgam of everything we've ever experienced. There are only two options; the first being to move forward, no matter how small the steps taken, or to simply stagnate--perseverating, and obsessing over that point which we choose to make impassable.
You normally should have had to eat a shitload of fortune cookies to ingest that much wisdom, so take your time with it.
