I lost my virginity.....
....finally.
Yeah, I went and did it....got a tattoo.
Funny thing is, so many people thought I already HAD one.
My buddy Mikey Bleed had a tattoo party at his place this past saturday.
Think Tupperware party with more metal and beer and less plastic and pretense.
On my right shoulder....the right hand path...its only about 1/3 done, I'll have to go back a couple of times before the art I've created for my own skin will be complete.
The symbol for chaos is an unbroken circle with arrows going in all directions out from it....my tattoo is a broken circle (at top) with arrows going out. Eventually, the spaces in the arrows and arround the circle will be filled with the striations of muscle....I have a fascination with anatomy, and want the fibers of the deltoid muscles showing through, and in the center of the circle will be my son's initials and his birthdate.
My tattoo represents, for me, my relationship with my boy. Although he is surrounded by the chaos of the world, I protect him on all sides, and am there to catch him whether he stumbles or falls (thus the circle beneath and around where his initials will be), yet I will never hold him down and will allow him to reach upward for the stars (thus the break at the top of the circle), he is my flesh and blood and we are woven together always (thus the interweaving of the muscle fiber to come).
Kitten also pointed out, that it has the dual meaning of my boy freeing me from chaos with his influence.
I like that.
CJ thought it was pretty cool too.
