yay! today after i wake up around noonish, i plan on doing some packing. we're moving soon and i'm so freeking anxious to get the fook out of these POS apartments. dario has to work later today from 2 to 10pm so i'm gonna be here by my little lonesome and have tons of time to organize/pack shit.
and tomorrow...LAND OF THE DEAD! those are the kinds of movies me and dario go to see together in the theater...the first movie date we went on together was cabin fever at the 2 dolla' theater when it was still around. i fucking miss that place. it was easy for poor people to go see a movie, and now you have to dole out 8 bucks a piece of you want to see anything at night, which is the most fun time of the day to go to a flick in my opinion. i mean the cheap theater didn't always show the cream of the crop, but it was still fun to go there if you had 2 dollars and nothing else to do late at night. <--- that, my friends, was a tangent. original point being me and dario usually go see horror movies together when it's just us two.
i will not miss these apartments very much at all, except for a few things. i will miss being within walking distance of the east side bloomingfoods, marsh, and CVS, especially the two latter because it's nice to have a place to go to and get emergency provisions late at night. we'll be near a village pantry, though, and that will have to do. i'll also miss being near the best asian market in town, saraga next to the east side kroger. BUT, that's okay because we're going to work on getting a car after we move to our new place. and we'll be living in a house for less money than we pay for being in a crap-ass apartment. so it's a fair trade
i need to get to bed soon. i've been staying up way too late the past few nights. at least i don't have to work til wednesday. whee. i think i'll take some time tomorrow to work on my summer reading list. yes i am that much of a nerd that i make a reading list for myself each summer. hey man, mind expansion is a beautiful thing.
