In the dark you are blind,
You get beaten with strength and fear,
Your dignity starts to diminish,
With every un-proud moment you get more and more angry,
With life and yourself,
Your spirit stares back at you,
Screaming and struggling,
Not to spit back at you for being weak
You pray that you don't die like this
Your dignity has all but left you
You can't cry
You can't move
You can't scream
As soon as it started it is over
The memory won't fade
It will continue to haunt and torment you.

I found my journal and this was the only one I liked from it, wrote it 8 years ago, but I think that it was still pretty decent, having a sort of writers block, can't usually write when I'm not mad
