my hero, has fallen. johnny tapia was my favorite boxer. he was my hero and someone i related to. he was a warrior. several episodes with drugs (if you can call dying twice and going into an extended coma an "episode") has pretty much ended his career, but his homeboy, my mexican brother marco antonio barrera was it. the best pound for pound fighter in the featherweight division. unbeatable.
well, tonight, he got whooped!!! by some phillipino kid who was a BADASS!!! fuck. i can't even hate him, cause that little bastard can throw the leather around. i respect him, but now. i have no heros.
