you know, when joe died, i was shocked, and it hurt because he had always been a hero to me. this great mythical figure who voiced the struggle of man, he fought for what was good. he care about the world and his fellow man, and he was like the beauty that i could try to be.

but johnny was who i was. a man who had lived a hard life, through fate as well as his own hands. he wanted to do right, but in his heart he knew he was a no good, goddamned son-of-a-bitch who, if he had gotten what he deserved, should have been killed long ago. he also turned it around, and put away most of those demons and was living the good life, the right life. i can only pray to be a good man, like him.
