i really do love this fucking city. it is nothing really tangible. it is all the little things i think, that make this place so great. to wander around in the springtime when everything is in bloom is amazing. i think it is the stark contrast of soo much manmade and concrete that truly makes you appreciate the parks and vegitation that dot this urban mecca!
and of course, brooklyn is the most beautiful part too! "the city of cathedrals"! walking around on a slightly overcast day, listening to jazz, you really come to understand the humanity of it all. this city lives and breaths, just like a person, it has its moods. its ups and downs, but it is always beautiful. i cannot describe it to you, you just have to experience it for yourself.
and if you do come to nyc, please, do yourself a favor and leave manhattan.
brooklyn is where its at!
