Well.... it's been a wild and wonderous summer..... this last weekend of the summer REALLY feels like the last weekend of the summer....
Sent it off with a bang!!
partied all weekend in Havasu till monday....caught a wild hair and drove to Vegas with my cousins to spend more time with them before they headed home...
the drive home sucked though.....on the 15, right before the cvajon pass we noticed a brush fire.....mo ents later the CHP passed us and did a traffic break...heading us off the freeway at Oak Glen, closing the 15 to all southbound traffic....
So we drove the 138 to silverwood lake and had us a two hour detour....
So, after leaving Vegas at 11:30...we pulled into the driveway this evening at 5:30!!!
Now it's the bewitching hour...getting the girl in the tub, putting rollerts in her hair so she can start school off with a mass of little blonde curls...pack lunches and FALL into bed....
Yes, my friends....the summer is over for this ole gal.....

My favorite season approaches....FALL.....
Belly dancing....gym visists....homamade soup and HALLOWEEN!!

Heh.. the good bed is also the one that the 3 yr. old ends up in at some stage in the wee hours. For that reason, whoever has a guest gets the futon (which is pretty damn comfy anyway) unless the boy is away. Anything's more comfortable than her mattress though.

The UCLA Seismic-tology-whatever-you-want-to-call-them people. And I've heard it on the news. But, I like earthquakes. It's almost like going on an amusement park ride for free.
