Gracies weird/wondermous/wild.weekend:
was sick sick sick all last week....
hub was out of town two days, so my friend and my mom had to come help me take care of my daughter, feed her, bathher, get her to school.....sucked to be so helpless....
then found out Thursday I'm a new auntie.... his name his Ryder James and he's fabulous.... decided around 1:30 Saturday afternoon to load up the new baby, his mother, her other daughter, my daughter and my mother and drive to Havasu (5hrs away) to surprise my father with his new grandson.... being that no one in the family, save my brother, knew that this baby was even coming.....
my dad is stunningly thrilled, despite the odd circumstances of this new grandbabys arrival.....
(my brother needs to be nuetered)
I barely knew this woman, until this weekend and thankfully, she's a keeper... her mother is even fabulous, trouble is, my brother NEVER wants to marry, he's not dating this woman so I'm not sure what to call her.....it's seems a bit much to say... "my brothers, son's mother" it's weird to me that I don't have a "sis in law", but I have a nephew and his sister and her mother....
whew....got home last night around midnight so lets review:
left socal around 4pm Sat....drove 6.5 hrs, (two stops to nurse the baby) spent
the night and most of Sunday with my father, mother, daughter who is 5, nephew who is 5 DAYS, and his mother, and her daughter who is 7 and drove home 6.5hrs in a ford explorer.....
yeah.... I'm just nutty huh?

But it all sounds cool except for the being sick part.
If you're looking for a good ride this weekend, the motorcycle club that I belong to is having a poker run. It's this Sunday (21st) and it starts at Santa Barbara Harley Davidson, with sign ups between 10:00 and 11:00 am. Hope to see you there.
