just got back from the health spa, an Asian health spa, where everyone walks around nekkid...all shapes and sizes.. it's small, not posh or shi shi..
For $40.00 you can get all access to the sauna, dry and herbal. the steam room, showers, robes towels, hot and cold spa and regular jacuzzi type bath AND... a 40 minute body scrub!!!
Let me say this about the scrub....freakin' amazing! you lay, buck nekkid on a vinyl cushioned table and a small, very smooth, very strong asian woman flops you around like a chicken and uses some type of loofa scrubber on your body, scrubbing the soles of your feet, tops, legs, hips, stomache, arms breasts back, neck, arm pits, shoulders, fingers, palms, backs of your hands face... lifts and spreads your legs and scrubs all but your vulva, the crack of yer arse and your breasts, doing circles around your nipples... every nook cranny and inch of my body is tingling, then she soaps you up, pours warm water on you and washes your hair... I've never been so damn clean in my life!! she even sticks her finger in your ears! Christ, i wasn't sure if I should be turned on or feel like a piece of meat being prepared to eat!
All very utilitarian, not sensuous or anything but for $40.00 bucks! I should do it weekly, I'm all pink and glowing!, everywhere and my tats... even the one that is over 12 years old has a sheen to it and looks fresh...
Best $40.00 I've spent in a long time!!
Tonight we're going to the "The Old Ship Pub".. for dinner to celebrate a friends birthday.... The dessert is the best... crunchhy toffee custard with cream....
More on the job front.... when i heard about Cirque hiring... i told a pal, who told her sister....now it turns out the sis may get one of the positions I want... which is going to be hilarious...I'm whacked, but nothing like her...
I'm not sure what I'll do, my name is on the list as "back up", but in bold...so maybe I'll get the position, but less hours than the other positions which may suit me fine. It's twisted irony, but oh well.... when I go to tommorows final interview, I'll just have to dazzle them with my charm.. if i don't get the position I want, i may just go ahead and apply to OC HD for sales.
Fabulous day overall though... after the interview tomorrow we're going treasure hunting for some vintage kitsch to wear if I go to the burlesque show...
