Ranch out in the desert...it's a 20 sq mile area for recreation motobike & 4-by riding...but you probably know all about it, as your family are avid riders. It was "Visiting with Huell Howser: / X Ranch Cafe"
I wanna go to the spa SO bad, but alas, it's gonna have to wait until i have both time & $$

Opening weekend is April 16. They are Closing the faire after 6 weekends, and it will end on May 22nd!~
They ahve also moved the site from Devore to Irwindale (Santa Fe Recreation Dam on Arrow Hwy)
I don't know how they are working classes...they would be running the 4 weeks prior to opening and tend to start at 9:30-10am and go until 5 or so. It's kid friendly, so kidlets are fine to bring along. Rumor has it, that Miller/Phillip Morris sold the faire, and it's being run my the RenCo...a publicly traded company...i don't know what all has changed.
I'm planning on going at least twice to this faire, and then at least once to the one in Corona, the European Renaissance Festival...especially on the night they are open until 9pm... it's really magical and fun.
Hope we can plan something. I'll be setting a date and posting an event in SGOC, SGLA, SGLBC and some other overlapping groups.

You're on the right track ... saying you aren't a smoker is the first real step in not smoking.
I've been smoking for 10 years now and while it disgusts me ... I can't say I've ever really TRIED to quit. Mostly 'cause I'm a social smoker ... I don't smoke unless I am with friends that are smoking.
But it still bothers me ... pretty much for all the reasons you listed ... other than the husband one ... and the wrinkles and white teeth dealy.
Oh - and the part about the daughter. I don't have one of those. LOL

Thanks for the comment. Yes you can be my friend. How old is your daughter? My son is nine and he has a guitar but isnt ready to focus (I play guitar, and he likes watching), hopefuylly someday.

I love your family photo! So cute! Sorry to hear you got sunburned. As for being and "adult" about that situation...i would have been vindictive so long ago, it's not funny. But then i'm all mean and nasty like that when i've been wronged all over. Her life is completely in the shits though, if it makes you feel better about it. I do. (feel better, i mean.) What goes around, comes around, ya know?.
Dont worry about missing Ren Faire. Everyone did. Even me...it was about 100 degrees that day, and i wasn't leaving the AC available in the house. We'll plan again for next year.
