This is the first holiday I've ever spent alone. Right now it totally sucks. I can still remember last year vividly since Mike had just come home from basic training and we had a blast a friend's place in NJ.
It's kind of ironic that it's Independance Day and I'd like nothing more than to not be completely independant today. heh.
Please send your love and well wishes to the guys and gals deployed right now. For them it's just another work day away from home.
Also ironic that they're out there for our freedoms and they celebrate the 4th without even a day off.
