Some people really do suck. I mean REALLY suck. Not in response to anything particular. Simply a behavioral observation. Oh and I'm not talking about the good suck. The bad suck. Need a swift kick in the ass, suck.
Some days I think my life would be much more simple if I made pizza for a living. You don't like the pizza? I'll make another one. Yeah. Simple. My brain esplode.
Voted yesterday. Took about three times as long as it should have due to other people's incompetency. Makes me kinda of miffed that something so important and basic had to be THAT annoying. I thought about saying "Fuck it." but that just wouldn't be right. So I donated three times as much of my life to casting a ballot as the average Joe. Yay.
At Home Party was okay. Certainly wasn't worth the nearly 3 hour trip up north. The prices were high and the products underwhelming. I was glad to see my friend but my presence there felt somewhat underappreciated because I didn't buy anything. I hate that petty crap.
Halloween was just another Sunday this year. It was a good one though. Met up with a few friends I haven't seen in a long time. NJ is beautiful this time of year.
One of the bests parts was the ride home. Drove through Frenchtown along the river and it was like a scene from a movie. All the old Victorians in the center of town were decorated for the holiday. White picket fences and porch swings, lights and pumpkins. At dusk. Kids were everywhere dressed up and trick or treating. Like a damned living postcard. Never had such a perfectly set Halloween, myself, EVER, but it made me reminisce about being young.
