I registered the Contour yesterday. The Jetta's plates say MSCHIF so I had to go with MAYHEM for the Contour. 
Eventually I'll sell the Jetta and buy something newer and spiffier and more Mustang Convertible like. 
I'm doing better at operating a stick shift but still struggle hardcore. Going to have to step up the process a bit since, as of this morning, the Jetta decided not to always shift gears when it's supposed to.
Right now that's my focus...learning to operate that Contour well. It irks me to no end that without being able to drive it well it's pretty much a big, shiney, 4500 dollar paper weight.
On an unrelated note, I think I tell myself at least once a day that I miss my long hair. Goddamned me all to hell for cutting it.
