today was a busy day. i awoke to the sound of the phone ringing. it was my dad, telling me that my mom had come out of her surgery (entire reproductive system removed) alright. that was good news, but he did say she was in a lot of pain, which made me feel bad...so bad, in fact, that i ended up having strange strong stomach cramps all day/night. when i got off the phone w/ dad it was 1:30, so i got up & did all my chores & then took the kids & went to DHR. i told my food stamps worker about gabe moving out & then i went downstairs & talked to my child support case worker about ryan & gabriel. i got a bunch of forms to fill out (done!) & set up an appointment for april 4th. from there, we went to the florist & i got my mom some pink roses & a "hurry up & get better" balloon. it was pretty. we went to the hospital & mom was pretty out of it. i told her i picked pink roses because i thought that was what she'd had at her wedding, but it turns out she'd had yellow. she likes pink, too, though. i fed & changed kagome in the hospital room & changed both the kids' outfits to match the hotness of the day. *note* a funny thing happened at the hospital...a nurse offerred to take katana home with her, promising a lot of toys & katana wanted to go! it didn't mean to much to me at that moment, but later in the day it did!* then i took them to the park in tuscaloosa & let the play. i swung kagome, but katana ended up running away & scaring me half to death. *all this after knowing how easily she could be swayed to go with a stranger!* once i found her, we went to gabe's rents' house where i dropped of the kids for a bit. then i went & put $ in the bank & went to WM & bought a set of bowl for my stove eyes & a few little toys for kagome & got gas. then i went back & chilled w/ gabe for a while, filled out all my paperwork, & headed home.
