Last night my heart was beating too fast during a hot bath (technically hot baths are taboo for pregnancy anyway) & then I had some visual disturbances after I got out to dry off (like streaks & spots of light). It was like I was tripping or something.
I checked my blood pressure & it was on the high end of normal. I think it was like 132/85. My chest started hurting around 10pm & it hurt all night. I had trouble sleeping.
I woke up at 9:30am & my chest was still hurting. I called the dr. & he said it's probably just my mitral valve prolapse acting up. That's messed up because it hasn't bothered me in a long time. He called in a prescription for some Metoprolol (same med I used to take for my MVP back when it bothered me). I already took one (of the old ones) & an OTC for heartburn, but I'm still hurting sporatically.
Today was the day I had originally predicted would be Kagome's arrival date. Yesterday I changed my prediction to tomorrow (August 1st). Then again, it could be any day between now & August 21st! Sometimes baby's come a week late. I hope this one doesn't wait that long, though.
No sign of the La Bassine birthing pool yet, but it's arriving via FedEx, so I hope it comes sometime today.

Im sorry that you were in so much pain, I hope it gets better. just think soon the baby will be here and it will all be over. I hope the pool comes soon.
