Had to order a new birthing pool today, so I hope it comes on time!
I decided in the end on the La Bassine Made in Water pool (which was designed for waterbirths). I like it a lot & I hope it will be worth the $120.00 (including shipping) that I had to pay.
The reason I had to get a NEW pool was because the one I bought yesterday was too big for our living room & since it would have weighed 1600 lbs. when full of 191 gallons of water, I needed a smaller one.
I also had to explain to both of my parents today about why I want a waterbirth & how it is safe. They still don't agree with my choice, but my dad is willing to give us the supplies we need for Gabriel to add some extra support under our living room floor.
Gabriel's birthday is tomorrow & he would like to spend the evening out at the bars (preferably without me, I think). I told him I would really prefer if he would let me go with him, but he would have to wait until Saturday to go out because we don't have a babysitter for tomorrow night. We'll see what he decides.
I cooked a lasagna tonight & it was very yummy. Actually, I cooked 2, one for us & one for my mom & dad. After all, Mom bought the ingredients.
I have been drinking a lot of water yesterday & today because my midwife says I'm close to dehydrated. It's hard to not grab a Cherry Pepsi every time I go to the fridge!
I ordered a waterbed hook-up kit off ebay today & I ordered the birthing pool & a few other birthing supplies from www.birthwithlove.com , so I really hope it all arrives before the baby does!
My back's killing me these days, especially right now, because I've been online for like 2 hours. A good friend sent me a maternity wedge pillow as a gift, though, so maybe I'll sleep better tonight. Thanks Armin!
Speaking of gifts, I have got to find time to put together the new Portable Pack 'N' Play. The box says assembly required, but I hope it's not too complicated!
Ouch! Contraction...Having those a lot lately. I keep telling Kagome to wait until July 31st to make an appearance. We'll see if she listens!

Busy day again ... I'm sorry about your back ... hope it works at least a little bit
Kagome will listen ... she has to until the birth tools are in place
