When the thought enters your head about getting pregnant (or getting your significant other pregnant), here's a few things you should consider about the 3rd trimester of pregnancy (take it from someone who knows firsthand as I have or am currently personally sufferring each & every one of these annoyances!):
*stress, anxiety, depression (due to hormones)
*heartburn & indigestion (especially at night or anytime lying down)
*alternating bouts of diarrhea & constipation (on a daily basis)
*nausea & vomiting (for the entire 9-10 months)
*swollen & sore breasts (that will be saggy later)
*practice contractions (that aren't supposed to hurt, but they do)
*middle & lower back pain (sometimes severe)
*headaches
*numbness of hands & feet (at times)
*hemmorhoids (yeah, I said it)
*painful vigorous fetal movement that goes on for hours at a time (in the 3rd trimester)
*painful pressure in the lower abdomen (3rd trimester)
*needle-like pains in bladder with fetal movement
*needle-like pains in vagina (for no apparent reason)
*hot flashes (doesn't matter the season, but summer sucks)
*no drinking, smoking, or drugs (unless you can't quit & then you pose a risk to your baby)
*loss of sexual appeal to your husband (might not happen to everyone, but it does to a lot of women including me)
*excessive tiredness
*unshakable need to clean constantly (nesting instinct)
You know, I have to stop here, but I could honestly keep going & going. I didn't even mention the things from the 1st 2 trimesters, though, most of them are similar to the 3rd trimester (but perhaps some to a lesser degree). I'm only a little ashamed to say I'm completely miserable at this point. I'm sleep-deprived & uncomfortable (in so many ways) & to top it all off, I can't have the waterbirth that I so desire. My doctor says they're unsafe (which is bullshit) & the only place I know I could go to have one is Miami (which isn't feasible or afforable right now). Bah fucking humbug.

You should think about the good things as well. Like that a new human being will walk the earth soon
Or that Katana will be the sweetest big sister ever
Can you picture that - I'm sure you can!
So relax a bit, T minus one month ...
