I'm in a shitty mood from shitty service.

Gabriel got fired today for missing too much work because of his back. Now he's in town trying to get it fixed at the chiropracter, but I wonder if he's too far gone? His grandfather has agreed to pay for any surgery he might need, so that is the only bonus. How we are going to pay our bills until he is able to work again? Your guess is as good as mine.

Our mattress set did not come today. I don't know when it will ever arrive. Next time I will pay extra for UPS. Goddamn BAX Global. Don't ever use them. I have no idea when we'll have a bed to sleep in.

I wonder if they were able to hook up our phone today? I'll find out soon enough. Satellite gets hooked up Monday, provided nothing goes wrong (which in my life would be a miraculous thing).

I need some drugs (too bad I'm pregnant)...so I will settle for a nice 4-day weekend trip to the beach (and I will not take no for an answer). I am going to make every effort to get my dad to buy me a car that is capable of driving 5 hours to FL & back within the next few days, so we can leave on the 16th & come home on the 19th. I will just pay for everything (hotel, food) on my credit card once we get there. Screw pre-booking since the online prices are ungodly. We'll find a nice little roach motel (one step up from camping) & I will spend hours lying on the beach with the breeze in my hair & that salty smell in my nose...
