I have decided that since I am likely to go into labor sometime in late July, I would like to take a trip to the beach in June (also for my birthday). I want to go to Laguna Beach or Panama City Beach, Florida.

Gabriel doesn't really seem to want to go, so I am trying to figure out how to get down there. I don't have a car yet & I wouldn't really feel comfortable driving down there (just me & Katana).

I had an OBGYN appointment today. I saw a new doctor. My hospital encourages rotation occasionally, in case my doctor is out of town when I go into labor. He was very nice & confirmed my belief that my having gestational diabetes is unlikely (due to few risk factors). However, he has convinced me to do another finger prick test the next time I go. I won't be drinking any more of that icky stuff, though! So there.

I have a 4D ultrasound scheduled for next Thursday (the 8th). I'm very excited & I should have some very interesting pix to put up when I get home. I decided as long as I am considering filing for bankruptcy, I might as well go ahead & pay in advance for my Mirena IUD birth control implant (which I will be getting 6 weeks after delivering the new baby). It was over $600! Whew, thank god for credit cards.

The mattress set didn't come today. They had the wrong address. Maybe I'll get it all fixed & they'll bring it tomorrow.

The phone company is coming tomorrow. They'll be letting me know if I can get my phone hooked up fast or if I'll be waiting a month. :fingers crossed: If they happen to get my phone hooked up tomorrow, then I can get my satellite hooked up Monday. Here's hoping!
