I often feel like more money could solve many of my problems. I would have more flexibility and better options if I had more $$, no question about it. But how much money would it take? I reflect on my debts & expenses and I don't think that anything short of winning the lottery would satiate my need/want for more $$. But financial freedom would not solve all of my problems. It would give me some breathing room and enable me to pursue my dreams and so on, but focusing on that lack of money only makes me miserable. So I do what I can to alleviate my financial burden and direct my focus elsewhere.

I am particularly fond of the Buddhist "Four Noble Truths" and that view of the nature of suffering. It's a very interesting perspective and it resonates with me.

I'm just thinking out loud. Anyway, sounds like the new wedding date is better for you. This must mean you get Valentine's Week, instead of just one day. Congratulations.

Yeah...I've been having such trouble keeping the bills together lately, and it's caused such tension between the husband and I. We check out budget, and according to how many bills we have and such, we should have plenty left over...and yet, we're always living paycheck to paycheck! Where the fuck does it go?!

When I win the lotto I will cut you guys a huge check, I promise. Until then, all I can offer is sympathy and lots of .

I couldn't tell ya on the debt thing, though I hear some of those services leave you worse off the long run, high interest and such. Make sure you do plenty of research first.

I don't think this new baby will "mean" anything. It'll just be a baby. She/he will be YOUR baby though and if anything, she/he will (hopefully) mean the world to you. Debts be damned. I hope everything will work out for you and your loving family. Hang in there, of course, and focus on LOVE. Love conquers all. Love rules.
