sorry it's been so long since i've updated or left a comment in yo's journal's peeps. i've been busy working 12 hour days and the free time i do have , i'm going out. so i've only been spending a few minutes here and there on sg.
i've been thinking about life lately. how we all worry about what things are going wrong in our lives etc etc. and how everyone is always in a rush. but since i've started working as a carer, i've noticed that my life is good. ok, there are things that could be better, like seeing my daughter etc. but it could also be worse. i look after a bloke that has multiple sclerosis. he can only move one arm, and even then, he has trouble with that. he can't use any other part of his body except his mouth and eyes. and can only just move his head. but not if he is tired. he only ever goes out 1 a week when me or another carer takes him out on a friday. he also has a son who's three yrs old. and you can see it in his eye's how it kills him that he might not see his son grow up. and when i think about him, and how he is, it shows you how short and precious life is. how people need to slow down and enjoy what life has to offer. to be happy with what you have and not to worry that your not were you want to be in life cause it could be worse. i'm alot happier now, than i have been in a long time. life is beautiful. you just have to slow down and look at it.

Learn as if you were going to live forever. Live as if you were going to die tomorrow.
