my god my wirk has become training mad. we have had this new manager for about a year now, and he is putting us all through training on things we have been using for years. and then we get certificates for them. ooooo. so now i have a certificate for manual handling and lifting, knowing the safety procedures for handling our chemicals etc. and today we got training and a certificate to say we can use our vacuum lifts.
and thats not all. he has come up with a nice little money making scheme for the company. basically, he will try and take
200 out of our 400 a month bonus from us. he is doing it by making a point system up. while the point system is a good idea, he has done it in a stupid way. basically you get points for being able to do certain jobs. i.e. if you've never done something you get no points for that job. if you've done it once, you get 1 point, if your semi-experianced you get 2 points, and if your experianced you get 3 points. so what he's done is, to get your full 400 a month bonus, you've got to get something like 150 points. but of course, there is no one up to that at the moment cause no one's really ever had the chance to do everything in the factory. and then there's the fact that not everyone is getting the training to get up to that level. and were ment to be up to 150 points by august. thats 1 month to become experianced on a load of jobs we've never done. like i said, the point system is good cause then if you're new, you gradually get up to the full pay while your doing it. and then everyone is also trained to do any job in the factory, just in case people are of ill etc. but the fact that he had given such a small time frame to get trained in is stupid. i can't afford to lose that much a month really. but oh well.

as for the week in general, it's been very quiet really cause i've had no money to go out with. in fact the only intersting thing that happened was this morning on the way to work. basically, at 5.30 in the morning i was driving to work and this really dirty looking man (dirty as in scraggy ec) just walked out in front of my car. he was reading this book and didn't even look away from the book, not even to say sorry. he just kept on walking. then i noticed that his trousers were halfway down his arse and all i could see was this big arse crack. lovely. and that was the most interesting thing that happened. there sheer excitment of my life .
