hooray for me. i finally got my driver's license, after years of nagging from my friends and associates. now i just need to buy a decent car. and by decent i mean anything that will go and wont break down all the time. i don't have a lot of money to spend so it will probably be uglier than sin, but i don't mind. i'm not really into cars at all (except for chevettes, they rule). i hate that whole macho my-car-is-an-extension-of-my-penis type of bullcrap. it's so silly. so so silly. i wasn't actually expecting to pass because i've driven a total of about three hours in the past year, but my tester guy was really nice and i think he knew that i was a good driver (i took lessons ages ago) and that i was cautious, and plus we had a good chat about art and poetry. so all in all, wasn't that painfull of an experience.

so i guess i should find somewhere cool to go, now that i can get there.
