Whats up SG!?!? Been a few days since I've blogged. Yesterday was a long day. I worked the 1400 to 2200 shift and a bunch of people called in. 5 of us ended up staying (three of us volunteered, two mandated) and worked til 0600 this morning. Got home around 0630....took forever to fall asleep and then I was back at work at 1400.
Honestly we had more OT tonight too but I just couldn't bring myself to volunteer. The money is damn good, but I need my sleep. Plus when you work in a fed prison, it's not exactly a fun 8 hours to work....let alone trying to do 32 hours of work in a 48 hour time period on 4 hours of sleep. That's just dangerous for not only you, but your co workers and the inmates.
So I'm home now and ready for bed. Tomorrow is my Friday and may pick up 8 more hours of OT if it's available. Nothing new in my world. Probably going to Best Buy over the weekend to buy a wall mount for my TV. The entertainment stand is taking up way too much room for a studio apartment. Also going to talk to the landlord about running the wires through the wall, so long as I patch it all back up before I move out (which will be a long long longgggg time from now). I want the job to look professional and don't want a bunch of wires hanging all over the place.
Drew out some new designs for some tats I'd like to get but forgot to snap some pics. Maybe tomorrow I'll write and post some pics.
Oh btw saw Priest the other day. Pretty good. Not great but not bad. The soundtrack sounds great too. I'd say save your money and wait for it to come out on Netflix or Redbox however. Also to add, I saw the regular version, 3D would probably look pretty kick ass w/ this movie but my head kills me after a couple hours of 3D so I usually avoid it. Streamed Kick-Ass the other night also and was pleasantly surprised. It was actually decent. Wouldn't buy it, but would say it's worth the viewing.

I would love to see your new tat drawings. If you do not mind me asking, what do you do in a Fed prison? It couldn't possibly be fun. I would imagine it to be quite stressful. My boyfriend is a certified nurses aide and he gets over 40 hours a week, but the company he works for doesn't give overtime. So it sucks for him. We are on the fence about Priest. He is into comics, but he said this is one he never got into. The previews made it look decent, but we weren't sure if we wanted to spend money to see it right now. We are looking forward to a midnight showing of "The Hangover 2" soon and we also still need to go see "Thor." Anxiously awaiting the new Harry Potter and Transformers as well!

Okay blogging a new post w/ pics up. I'm a CO in the prison (Officer....I babysit). Yes it can be stressful. Being around guys that have nothing to do all day but think of ways to mess w/ you. I usually don't have many problems though.
